The Indian Mackerel or Bangda is an oily fish found in warm shallow waters along the coasts of India and Western Pacific oceans. You could cook it by deep frying or pan frying or prepare it in mouth-watering curry recipe called Bangude puli munchi. Unlike other white fish, Bangda should be fresh as it tends to turn faster than other varieties of fish.
